Iron Horse Hotel in Milwaukee

When I was traveling in the Midwest last week, I stayed at the very cool Iron Horse Hotel, a converted bed factory right on the river. It was the epitome of industrial chic, with handforged chandliers made of motorcyle gears and reclaimed wood everwhere. The rooms were fabulous, too, with high ceilings and big windows looking out over the city. Their restaurant Smyth, serves our Hanna Sauvignon Blanc by the glass. I loved the Duroc Pork with Cherries and Sweet Potato Puree. Delicious!
