2012 Hanna Reserve Malbec - anticipated bottling May 2014

Our 2012 Reserve Malbec is aubergine dark, with aromas of afternoon Mulberry and desert air, blueberry pancakes, coal and clove. It bursts with coffee, blueberry, pistachio and caramel flavors. On the palate it is lush, devoid of angularity, deeply concentrated but with puppy soft ears.

2013 Elias Pinot Noir - anticipated bottling July 2014

Our 2013 Elias Pinot Noir's vibrant aromas of cherry, plum, anise and mocha leap youthfully from the glass. It has flavors of plum blossom and spice with a hint of Tandoori and chocolate. Almost satiny, with just a hint of youthful petulance that will resolve before bottling.

First weekend of Barrel Tasting!

This past weekend HANNA Winery participated in the first weekend of Barrel Tasting here in Sonoma County. We saw over 400 people on Saturday alone and had a great time sharing wines, food and locally produced olive oils and vinegars.



We poured the first tastes of 2013 Elias Pinot Noir and our brand new and absolutely delicious 2012 HANNA Reserve Alexander Valley Malbec. Futures of these two exquisite wines are going for 20% off right now so come and take advantage of the discount!

The Vanguard

I walked two Rows of our new Malbec Vineyard in Alexander Valley Thursday afternoon and found only these four berries had begun the transformation from sour, hard and sugarless peas into the sweet, intensely colored delicacies we will harvest in two months. Malbec is usually the first of the Bordeaux varieties to begin verasion. This color change gives winemakers a jolt, reminding us that crush is near.
