Just as we're preparing to bottle the luscious 2011 Pinot Noirs, we're already looking forward to the 2012 Pinot harvest. After a slow start to the growing season, late Spring weather has been warm and beautiful and the Pinot vines are happy; therefore, so are we!
Photos 1 & 2: Granted, they're a year older, but the Home Ranch block 1 Pinot Noir is looking full and lush compared to last year's soggy vines. With last year's bloom-time rain, the Pinot crop was small but tasty. This year we're looking forward to more of a good thing!
